A study was performed in an accredited microbiology laboratory capable of providing a wide variety of clinical studies on bacteria, fungi and viruses. This laboratory is accredited by the College of American Pathologists and certified by CLIA. In association with the School of Medicine’s Department of Pathology, the Microbiology Laboratory conducts numerous studies related to new methods, technology evaluations, and clinical drug studies.
